Residents of Acre Tano in Kamulu, Nairobi County are still coming to terms with the horrific death of a boda boda operator whose body was found on the roadside with gunshot wounds.
Area boda boda Chairman Daniel Mwaniki condemned the incident revealing that this month alone they have experienced two similar incidents of people masquerading as clients and end up either killing or forcefully taking their motorbikes.
The incident has raised fears among boda boda operators who want security beefed up in the area.
The residents are now calling on the Machakos County Police Commander to add a police post in the area to boost security and shorten the response time during attacks.
