Simader was disqualified in the race that was won by Switzerland’s Lara GUT-BEHRAMI who finished first in 1:25.51 ahead of compatriot Corinne SUTER and USA’ s world champion Mikaela SHIFFRIN who finished in second and third positions respectively.
Sabrina will now hope for better outing in two remaining events that she’s set to feature in: the women’s alpine combined which will be held next week but before then she will be back in action this Saturday in the women’s Downhill competition.
Bad weather had delayed the kick off of the event for two days with some events being called off due to fog .
