Defending champions Morocco stay on course for a second title after cruising through to the semi finals of the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN, with a 3-1 defeat of Zambia .The win sets up Morocco against hosts Cameroon in this Wednesday’s semi final.
Against Zambia Morocco won convincingly taking the lead seconds into the match at Reunification Stadium in Douala.
Soufiane Rahimi found space to slot the ball past Zambia’s goalkeeper Allan Chibwe.
The defending champions continued to press in numbers and increased their lead after only eight minutes. Mohammed Al Bemammer nodded in after goalkeeper Chibwe mistimed and failed to punch out the ball from a corner.

Zambia were reduced by one player after Zachariah Chilongoshi was sent off for a bad foul on Abdelilah Hafidi after 20 minutes of play.
Morocco will now face hosts Cameroon at the semi-final stage on February 3rd at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium.
The other semi final will be between guinea against Mali kicking off at 7PM east African time,from Japoma Stadium,located in the southwest of the coastal city of Doula.
The third place play off is scheduled Saturday while the final is set for Sunday February 7th.
